1. Glue the tailgate to the roof.
Make sure the tailgate is at a 90° angle to the roof.

2. Glue the side panels to the roof and to the tailagte.

3. Check the fit of the roof. If necessary, make adjustments. Bend the part indicated by the arrow to line up properly with upper door edge. You have to shorthen this part with a file if it is a tiny bit too long. |

4. Fill the gaps indicated in red with contour putty. The slanted down edge of the side panel will need some some
sanding where it meets the roof. Create a smooth transition between the
side panel and the roof. Do not fill the gaps and detail indicated in yellow. |

5. Prime and paint the roof. Make sure the roof is 100% grease-free. You can wash the assembled roof quickly with dishsoap, pat it dry with a kitchen towel and let it air-dry. You can also rub it carefully down with a linfree cloth and denatured alcohol. The cleaner the surface, the better the primer will stick! Primer is required. I recommend self-etching automotive primer. A very thin layer is enough! Primer smoothens out the surface, and it adheres better to the metal than does paint. Paint the roof. |
| not shown | 6. Cut slightly oversized rear and rear side windows from the supplied piece of clear styrene. Glue the windows very carefully into place. Instead, you can also use clear window maker/ window glue to create your own window panes. I suggest you leave the front side windows open. |
