| Horus
was the prince of the ancient Egyptian gods and the patron of the
pharaoh. Horus is a general term for a number of falcon deities, who
are often depicted as falcons or falcon-headed men or lions. I designed
this Horus amulet in the style of a cartouche. The design is
based on an actual pendant. The pendant is cast and finished by hand in small numbers. The detail is laid in with black resin enamel. The material resembles antique silver. A strong jump ring (6 mm inner diameter) is included. |
